In 1983, Ricky Gervais’ final year as a student at UCL (University College London), Gervais and his friend Bill Macrae released two singles “More to Lose” and “Bitter Heart”. The band was called Seona Dancing and they were signed by London Records.

He has performed on four sell-out stand-up comedy tours, and starred with Merchant and Karl Pilkington in the notorious podcast The Ricky Gervais Show. Ricky Gervais’ talent has won him a multitude of awards and honors, including seven BAFTA Awards, two British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, one Golden and the 2006 Rose d'Or.
