The New Comedy Shrine!

Stand-up comedian and writer Dave Sinker opened the stand-up comedy club called Comedy Shrine in 2005. The Comedy Shrine was located on a second story along Chicago Avenue in downtown Naperville, but now it has a whole new appearance that hopefully will attract more people.

Dave Sinker relocated the Comedy Shrine club in Plaza Square at 4034 Fox Valley Center Drive in Aurora. But Sinker was not afraid to think big. The new venue now offers to stand-up comedy lovers two cabaret-style theaters which will host improv and stand-up comedy shows at least three nights a week, a full bar and lounge area and a retail store and a museum of comedy memorabilia, all from Dave Sinker’s private collection.

What kind of stand-up comedy people are going to enjoy there? Most every type of stand-up comedy, because Dave Sinker loves comedy in general and, at age 52, he still enjoys getting up on stage sometimes.
