The legendary comedian George Carlin died

The legendary comedian George Carlin, famous for George Carlin 7 words routine died on 22nd of June of heart failure. After being admitted to St John's Hospital, complaining of chest pain, George Carlin died later that day at 5:55 p.m. Because those were his wishes, no public or religious services of any kind were held and he was cremated.

George Carlin death left the world empty of one of the funniest man ever and thought us that drugs and alcohol can damage your heart. The comedian died of heart failure, after having three heart attacks in 1978, 1982 and 1991 and two angioplasty surgeries.

George Carlin often stated his drug and alcohol addiction and wrote "Developing a really nice cocaine habit", referring to the period from 1972 to 1975. Also in 1975, open of George Carlin quote: "Hosted the every first broadcast of Saturday Night Live. Loaded on cocaine all week long", gives us another clue about one of the reasons his heart failed.

In 2004, probably acknowledging his alcohol and drugs problems, the comedian George Carlin entered an alcohol and drug treatment program, in order to treat his wine and Vicodin addiction. Even though George Carlin succeeded with this rehab program, the alcohol and drug abuse have long lasting effects on the heart.

June 22nd 2008 was a sad day for everyone who loved George Carlin, but what we know for sure is even if he is dead, George Carlin comedy will stay alive forever.
