The multitalented actor, comedian, musician and writer Steve Martin is getting really serious when it comes to his music. Currently in a musical tour, he will stop at the Vancouver Center for Performing Arts Today, at 7: 30 p.m. The Steep Canyon Rangers will be joining the comedian in his musical adventure.
Steve Martin was into music before he got into stand up comedy and acting. But when his comedy career flourished, bluegrass was second on his list. The comedian achieved fame in his area of expertise and now, at age 65, Steve Martin is returning to his first love: the music.
Steve Martin- the musician has two bluegrass albums to his name, The Crow: New Songs for the 5-String Banjo and Rare Bird Alert, both very well received from the public. He started playing the banjo during the ‘60s and he continued playing it in his stand up shows as well.
