Stand-Up Comedian Colin Quinn Will Perform on Comedy Night Benefit

It’s settled: stand-up comedian and writer Colin Quinn will perform at Stepinac High School’s “Comedy Night to Benefit the Children of Coach Joe O’Grady,” Friday evening, April 29. The benefit will be held at the school’s auditorium at 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains from 7 PM until midnight.

Starting at 8:15 PM, along with the comedy show, there will also be an ongoing party in the school’s cafeteria throughout the night.

Stepinac Coach Mike O’Donnell declared: “We are very pleased that Colin Quinn has agreed to join us in a comedy show for a great cause that will benefit Joe O’Grady’s children.” He added: “Joe O’Grady led a life full of laughter and an amazing love for his wife, Shannon, their three children and his family and friends. We are going to celebrate Joe’s remarkable life during this special event.”

Proceeds from the show and party, which costs $100 per person, will be used to help the education fund of O’Grady’s three children. The former Stepinac baseball coach died of cancer at 38 last year following a battle with cancer.
