Rosie Wilby on exploring womanhood in Nineties Woman Wandsworth Art Festival

Comedienne Rose Wilby is exploring womanhood in the 1990s with new detective documentary, unrequited love story and a Q&A session. She used to write for York University’s feminist newspaper. Her work became her first material in a performance.

Nineties Woman is part of the Wandsworth Arts Festival as an intimate work-in-progress performance.

Rose is producer and presenter for Resonance FM LGBT show “Out in South London”. She also performs comedy gigs and writes for newspapers. She has been writing about being an openly lesbian performer.

Wilby entered in comedy world in 2004 by joining the competition “So You Think You’re Funny”. She continued with other competitions until he took several shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a tour around UK.
