Robin Williams dines with fans for Andre Agassi's charity

Robin Williams sold himself for Andre Agassi's charity event and raised $600,000.

Robin Williams took part at Andre Agassi's 15th Annual Grand Slam for Children benefit and the comedian offered six of his fans the opportunity to bid on a spot at a dinner party hosted by him.

The dinner party will take place in San Francisco and each of his fans paid $100,000 to have the privilege to have dinner with Robin Williams.

Andre Agassi's 15th Annual Grand Slam for Children was a huge succes, no less than $8.5 million being raised with the celebrities help, including Robin Williams, Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto who offered a trip to India for $75,000 or Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich who offered private drum lessons for $35,000.

Robin Williams, well-known for his stand up comedy performances, as well as for his acting career, returned this year on stage and released his first HBO special since 2002, Weapons Of Self Destruction and on November 19 he will embark for his first tour in New Zealand.
