Ricky Gervais had difficulties with Curb role

Ricky Gervais has revealed he had some difficulties shooting scenes with Larry David for Curb Your Enthusiasm.

But the problems had nothing to do with the role or with his talent, but with having to shoot scenes without laughing.

The British comedian Ricky Gervais posted on his blog that "Larry and I had to look into each other's eyes suspiciously in a scene last night. Couldn't do it. Impossible," "We both cracked up about 25 times I'd say. He is the only person I've worked with who corpses as much as me. It's refreshing.".

Ricky Gervais will play himself in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm's eighth season, which will air in 2011, on HBO.

The British comedian accepted gladely the invitation for the TV series, because he always wanted to make a guest appearance on the show, being a fan of Larry David, only he couldn't do it sooner because he was filming the "Extras".

"I've always wanted to work with Larry as I consider him one of the most important comedic minds of the past 50 years. He is also one of the nicest people I know." - stated the comedian
