Ray Romano Is Back to Stand Up Comedy

After this summer’s cancellation of the Men of a Certain Age comedy show, stand up comedian Ray Roman found himself without any job. But he immediately turned to performing live stand up comedy and he can be seen at The Mirage, Las Vegas today and Saturday. As an opening act, Ray Romano will have the stand up comedian and actor Jon Manfrellotti.

Ray Romano’s Men of a Certain Age got cancelled due to low ratings even if the show won TV's highest honor, the Peabody Award for broadcasting excellence. With he TNT network not wanting the TV show back, he and show co-creator Mike Royce tried to convince other networks to take on the show but without any positive result.

The stand up comedian Ray Romano is eager to start a new project because he enjoys what he does and wants to prevent the downfall he experienced after "Everybody Loves Raymond" went off the air. But for now, he is focusing on his stand up comedy career, while trying to figure out his next move.
