Kirsten Wiig to host "SNL" before Ben Affleck and Kanye West

Kristen Wiig will return to her old home of "Saturday Night Live" to host the show on May 11. This will be the first time that Wiig has hosted "SNL" since ending her 7-season run on the show last year.

"SNL" executive producer Lorne Michaels named her as one of the "top three or four" cast members of all time. Her last episode, in which Mick Jagger serenaded her with "She's a Rainbow" as she danced with each cast member, was one of the most memorable moments on the show in recent years.

Wiig will next been seen on the big screen this summer starring in "Girl Most Likely," which she also produced. She also will play young Lucille Bluth in the upcoming season of "Arrested Development" coming out next month, and was announced to play a role in "Anchorman 2."

NBC also announced that the season finale on May 18 will be hosted by Ben Affleck with musical guest Kanye West. The network had previously said that Zach Galifianakis will host the May 4 episode.
