John Oliver to replace Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show" this summer

Starting Monday, June 10 we get to see John Oliver hosting on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show”. While Jon Stewart is heading off to direct his first feature film, “Rosewater” Oliver had won the big lot being accepted to substitute Stewart this summer.

The cable network previously announced that Stewart's hiatus would last 12 weeks, with Oliver guest hosting for eight of those weeks. Stewart will return to the show Tuesday, September 3.

"Don’t worry, it’s still going to be everything that you love about 'The Daily Show,' just without the thing that you love the most about it," said Oliver in a statement.

Oliver's first week's guests are scheduled to be Seth Rogen, "Veep" creator Armando Iannucci, Mavis Staples and Fareed Zakaria.
