Stand-up comedian Jeff Garlin is going to perform a stand-up comedy concert at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, on July 13-24. His main theme is his sugar addiction, therefore, the show is called “No Sugar Tonight: An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy”.
Jeff Garlin begun his career with stand-up comedy, but he is also an actor, writer and director. He is best known for his roles in “Roseanne” (1989) and “Baywatch” (1994), followed later by “The Michael Richards Show” in 2000. He has also done voiceovers for Pixar animated movies. He was the voice of Otis, the car, in “Cars 2” (2011), Buttercup, the unicorn, in “Toy Story 3” (2010) and the Captain in “Wall-E” (2008).
In “No Sugar Tonight” stand-up comedy show, Jeff Garlin talks about his sugar addiction which is, in his opinion, as dangerous as an alcohol addiction. He has been “sober” now for two and a half years. The “No Sugar Tonight: An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy” starts at 7:30 p.m.
