Eddie Izzard backs up the 2012 Olympic Games

Eddie Izzard backs up the 2012 London Olympic Games and urges the Brits to volunteer to help run the event.

Eddie Izzard has filmed a recruitment video, in which he urges the U.K. citizens to embark in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"We need volunteers: team players, those people willing to push themselves as far as they can to get their work done. Whatever role you are allocated, everything you do will be to help make the Games one of the most amazing experiences of people's lives. Imagine being able to tell your grandkids that you were part of the London 2012 Games!" - says the British comedian.

This is not Eddie Izzard's first time in a volunteers scheme, in 2009 the funny comedian raising more than $300,000 for the British charity Sport Relief, by running 1,100 miles in 51 days, across the U.K.
