David Granirer presents "Stand Up For Mental Health" program this Friday

Vancouver stand-up comic, David Granirer teamed up with Crossroads for Stand Up For Mental Health show in Sidney.

Granirer founded the award-winning program after dealing with depression. St. Andrew Church hall will host the show who teaches people with mental illness how to become stand-up comedians as a way to build their confidence and be a part of the society.

“Crossroads Cape Breton is a recovery program that supports adults in maintaining their social, physical, and mental health. Its mission is to enable individuals to lead more socially satisfying and personally productive lives,” it is said in the press release.

The show starts Friday at & p.m and the tickets can be bought at the door - 10 waged, $5 unwaged and $7 for students.
