Amy and Greg Poehler are planning big debut in Swedish television with a half-hour comedy series for TV4 “Welcome to Sweden”.

The story is based on Greg’s (Amy’s brother) life. He falls in love with a Swedish girl and follows her home. Bruce, a New York accountant whose romance with Emma (Josephine Bornebusch) will lead him on a Scandinavian adventure. Lena Olin will play Emma's mother Viveka, Illeana Douglas and Patrick Duffy will play Bruce's parents. Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza and KISS's Gene Simmons are set to make cameos.

"I'm overjoyed to work with everyone involved to create what we hope will be a uniquely international show. Mostly, I'm happy to finally start profiting from my strange Swedish experiences," said Greg Poehler while Amy added "I'm so happy to work with my talented brother Greg and the terrific Swedish actors who have joined us. Hopefully this helps us decide once and for all who is our parents' favorite child."

Amy Poehler, whose "Parks and Recreation" recently finished its fifth season, is also executive producing "Broad City," which was given a season order by Comedy Central in March.
