Jerry Seinfeld - Personal Life

Jerry Seinfeld, by his full name, Jerome Alan Seinfeld was born in Brooklyn, New York City, on 29th of April 1954. Jerry Seinfeld's nickname is Little Jerry, he is 5'11" (1.80m) tall and is a New York Mets fan.

The son of Kalman and Betty, Jerry Seinfeld moved with his family to suburban Massepequa, NewYork, Long Island when he was just a child. Jerry Seinfeld's mother was a Syrian Jewish and the comedian's his father was a Hungarian Jewish.

Jerry Seinfeld's father was a sign maker, and had a great sense of humour, being a kind of a closet comedian. Arround the age of eight, the kid that was to become one of the funniest stand up comedians, studied day and night the techniques of comedians, by watching tv.

In 1959, Jerry Seinfeld was enrolled at Eastlake Elementary School and after that, he attended Massapequa High School. At only 16 years old, in 1970, the teenager Jerry Seinfeld spent a short period of time in Israel, volunteering in Kibbutz Sa'ar.

Jerry Seinfeld attended Sunny Oswego College and then transferred to Queens College back in New York City, from where he graduated. During college, Jerry Seinfeld became interested in stand up comedy after a few appearences in college productions. Jerry Seinfeld's manager is his sister, Carolyn Liebling.

Jerry Seinfeld's Love life

Between 1993 - 1997, Jerry Seinfeld dated much younger Shoshanna Lonstein, who was only seventeen years older when she started dated Seinfeld.

The comedian used to appear on The Howard Stern show, but after Howard and his team made fun of his relationship with Shoshanna Lonstein, Jerry Seinfeld had a falling out.

After his relationship with Shoshanna Lonstein ended, Jerry Seinfeld dated Carol Leifer, supposed to be the model of Elaine, one of the characters from Seinfeld episodes.

In 1998, Jerry Seinfeld started dating public relations executive, Jessica Sklar, who became, on 25th of December 1999, Jerry Seinfeld's wife. They met at the Reebok Sport Club and at that point, Jessica Sklar was still married to Eric Nederlander, who planned to sue Jerry Seinfeld for "alienation of affection", but he didn't.

On 7th of November 2000, Jessica Seinfeld gave birth to their first child, a girl named Sascha. On March,1, 2003 Jerry Seinfeld's wife gave birth to their second child, a boy named Julian Kal Seinfeld and their third child, Shepherd Kellen Seinfeld, was born on August 22, 2005.

Jerry Seinfeld's Collections: Porsches and white sneakers

It is known that Jerry Seinfeld has a collection of over 40 different Porsches, rumors being that he is the owner of the largst Porsche collections in the whole world.

The comedian stored the collection in a hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, in California. Jerry Seinfeld bought the first Porsche 911 ever built, a light blue Porsche, bought at Manhattan Motors.

Jerry Seinfeld's Porsche collection includes 10 Porche Boxters in different colors, Porsche 911s from different years and the famous 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder and ofcourse the fabulous Porsche 959.

In February 2004, he wrote an article for the Automobile, about Porsche Carrera GT, for that being awarded Road Pest - silver in 2004, at the International Automotive Media Awards.

Jessica Seinfeld Cookbook

Jerry Seinfed's wife, Jessica Seinfeld wrote a cookbook: "Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food", published in october 2007, by HarperCollins. On 7th of January 2008, the author of "The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids' Favorite Meals", Missy Chase Lapine sued Jessica Seinfeld and Jerry Seinfeld for plagiarism, copyright and trademark infrigement.

Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook was the subject of media and Seifeld's counsel, accused Missy Chase Lapine that she was seeking publicity for the book's sales.
