Stand up comedian Russell Brand wrote on his Twitter page, just before a comedy show in Canada: “Tonight’s Casino Rama show postponed. I’m sorry. I can’t enter Canada. We must abolish the borders between our nations AND our minds.” The stand up comedian claims he was stopped from entering Canada; this being the reason his stand up comedy show at the Casino Rama was postponed.
The Orillia’s Casino Rama, on the other hand, claimed “travel issues” for the show’s postponement. “[Russell] is still in California, he never left, he has no immigration or border issue, it was a tech issue with plane!” the casino declared also on Twitter.
Russell Brand was due to perform a stand up comedy concert in front of a crowd of 5,000 people on Saturday. Claiming to be arrested 11 times, stand up comedian Russell Brand was also deported from Japan due to his criminal record in May.
