Metta World Peace in a Stand Up Comedy Boot Camp!
Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, is going to take part in a standup comedy boot camp in order to improve his stand up comedy skills. Apparently, the NBA star is taking serious his stand up comedy career after his debut a few months ago.
Basketball player and stand up comedian Metta World Peace, aka Ron Artest, declared about his changing of name: "Changing my name was meant to inspire and bring youth together all around the world." Inspired by Chad Ochocinco's name change, Metta is his first name, and World Peace is the last. The stand up comedian has his next comedy show scheduled October 28th at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
