Dave Chappelle bought a shopping center
Dave Chappelle spent $470,000 on a shopping center in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The stand up comedian that doesn't do much of stand up comedy, except on susrprise appearance, bought for himself the Kings Yard building, bidding not less than $470,000.
Dave Chappelle, who lives near Yellow Springs, stated he is not sure what he is going to do with the place, but he hopes that what he will eventually do "will improve the quality of life for the people who live here and those who visit hereâ. He also said "Don't tell Elaine", reffering to his wife and stated that he hadn't actually expected to buy the shopping center that day.
The current owner of Kings Yard sold the place because he needed the money to take care of her mother.
