Jeff Foxworthy, Larry The Cable Guy and Bill Engvall - the Blue Collar Comedy Trio tries to bring a country amusement park/resort in Foley, Alabama. According to Hollywood Reporter the center will be called Blue Collar Country and will include hotels, convention centers, venues for music and sporting events.
Foley Mayor, John Koniar called the theme park Bronson, MO meets Six Flags. There’s no opening date set yet, but the first step of the project will cost approximately 200 million. Funds for the project will come through bonds, grants, and the monetary success The Blue Collar Comedy Trio has earned from books, TV shows, tours, and merchandise. Blue Collar Country could be up and running in the next three years, says Blue Collar manager J.P. Williams.
We hope to see some other Blue Collar Country themes like NASCAR themed rides, Budweiser fountains for family fun, a barbershop that specializes in one cut, the mullet, ride a donkey station (for the kids of course), fireworks station, weekly Kid Rock shows and a retail store that sells only sleeveless shirts and trucker hats.
