Aziz Ansari and Donald Glover to be Honored at Just For Laughs Conference
Aziz Ansari and Donald Glover will be awarded this month at the Just For Laughs Comedy Conference in Montreal, Canada.
Indian American actor and stand up comedian Aziz Ansari, who stars in the "Parks and Recreation" comedy show will be awarded the the Breakout Comedy Star of the Year Award.
In the press realease is stated that Aziz Ansari's award is for honouring a star who has gone from talented to "super-stardom".
Donald Glover, known for his role as "Try" from NBC's show "Community" will be awarded the Rising Comedy Star Award for being "the next big thing" as in the same press release was stated.
The Montreal International Just For Laughs Festival is one of the worldâs largest comedy event, having each summer an attendance of over 2 million people.
The Festival Just For Laughs runs from July 7th-18th, and the conference portion is taking place from July 15th-17th, 2010.
